Create, review and release an article
Separate article drafting, owner approval and delivery.
Before you begin
- Sign in to Eva and select the intended project.
- Use fictional records when practising; changes affect the selected business.
Starting screen: /dashboard/content
1. Create an article
Open Content → Articles, choose New article, and complete URL slug, Title, Summary, and Article body (Markdown).
Expected result: The editor contains a new draft.
Confirm it worked: Use a clear unique slug and accurate business claims.
2. Add metadata and sources
Fill Author, Search title, Search description, CTA label, CTA HTTPS URL, and Source URLs (one HTTPS URL per line) where appropriate.
Expected result: The article has delivery/search metadata and reviewable sources.
Confirm it worked: Use complete HTTPS links; check CTA destination and source accuracy.
3. Save and preview
Click Save draft revision and open Preview/Article preview.
Expected result: A saved revision and rendered preview are available.
Confirm it worked: Reload and verify the draft content before approval.
4. Approve the exact revision
Open Review and approval and review checks and Owner approval. As owner, approve the displayed revision, such as Approve revision 1.
Expected result: That revision receives approval when its required checks permit it.
Confirm it worked: Changes to a draft require reviewing the resulting revision again.
5. Release or schedule
Use Release now or schedule after approval.
Expected result: The approved revision enters the configured delivery flow.
Confirm it worked: Check release/schedule state rather than assuming draft save published it.
6. Remove from delivery if needed
Use Remove from delivery and review the named article in the confirmation. Choose Cancel or Confirm removal.
Expected result: Confirmed removal stops the article’s delivery availability.
Confirm it worked: Verify its state and retained revision history.
Troubleshooting and alternatives
Leaving unsaved edits can show Save your article changes? with Keep editing, Save and continue or Discard edits. Choose deliberately.
Approval is revision-specific; export of approved JSON is not the same as website publication.
