Business administration
Use connected CRM and support providers
Map CRM/support accounts and read the supported provider records.
Before you begin
- Sign in to Eva and select the intended project.
- Use fictional records when practising; changes affect the selected business.
Starting screen: /dashboard/integrations
1. Choose a provider
Select the supported HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho CRM, Intercom or Zendesk integration.
Expected result: Eva presents that provider’s connection flow.
Confirm it worked: Check the current catalogue rather than assuming every provider supports every operation.
2. Authorise the account
Follow provider consent using a dedicated account you are permitted to connect.
Expected result: Eva displays a successful connection or actionable failure.
Confirm it worked: External prerequisites: HubSpot OAuth, Salesforce connected apps, Zoho OAuth, Intercom OAuth, Zendesk OAuth.
3. Map and inspect data
Choose the appropriate resource in connection settings and use it for the active project. Open CRM or Support and select the Provider/Customer provider filter.
Expected result: Provider-backed records appear in their business view after sync.
Confirm it worked: Check the provider account and filter match the connection.
4. Respect the supported action boundary
Inspect the selected record’s available controls. Manage external records only through the supported approved action flow.
Expected result: Read-only provider views do not expose native mutation controls.
Confirm it worked: For Intercom/Zendesk, verify the record is labelled as a provider conversation before expecting takeover.
Troubleshooting and alternatives
A successful OAuth return alone does not prove a project mapping or complete sync. Verify data in the intended business screen.
Provider permissions and editions can affect discoverability. Keep external setup instructions linked to official provider documentation.
