Use search, filters and table controls to keep customer records usable.

Before you begin

  • Sign in to Eva and select the intended project.
  • Use fictional records when practising; changes affect the selected business.

Starting screen: /dashboard/crm?mode=manage

1. Search the customer list

Action: Search the customer list. Select the image to enlarge it.

Enter a name or known value in Search customers. Review the Customer provider selector if the record came from an integration.

Expected result: The table shows matching records within the active project.

Confirm it worked: Clear the search and compare the count if a record is missing.

2. Adjust columns and sorting

Action: Adjust columns and sorting. Select the image to enlarge it.

Click Columns to choose and reorder columns. Open a column’s options, such as Open Status column options, and select Sort ascending or the available filter.

Expected result: The table reflects the chosen columns, order and filters.

Confirm it worked: Use Website or Updated when reviewing contact quality.

3. Edit a customer

Action: Edit a customer. Select the image to enlarge it.

Open Open actions for [customer name] and choose Edit customer. Update the displayed fields and save using the form’s save action.

Expected result: The updated record replaces the prior visible values.

Confirm it worked: Reload and search for the revised name or contact information.

4. Review selection and pagination

Action: Review selection and pagination. Select the image to enlarge it.

Use the checkbox Select [customer name] to select a record. Follow the table’s available page controls for larger lists.

Expected result: Selection and paging apply to the displayed list.

Confirm it worked: Clear selection when finished and check filters before concluding a record is absent.

Troubleshooting and alternatives

Changing a provider filter can hide native records or provider records. Return to the full list before diagnosing missing data.

Do not expect provider-backed data to support every native edit action. Use the provider connection and sync status to troubleshoot cached records.
