Agents and collaboration
Configure an agent voice identity
Choose the voice, style and disclosure for Eva or a project specialist.
Before you begin
- Sign in and select the intended project.
- Live voice requires configured services/providers; demonstrations must use labelled deterministic boundaries.
Starting screen: /dashboard/agents
1. Open the agent settings
In Agents choose Configure Eva or Configure [specialist name].
Expected result: The agent settings dialog appears.
Confirm it worked: Inspect the displayed state and verify the service-confirmed outcome before continuing.
2. Open Voice Studio
Choose the Voice Studio tab. On Free, read the Pro availability message rather than expecting editing controls.
Expected result: Eligible users see voice configuration; Free users see the plan boundary.
Confirm it worked: Inspect the displayed state and verify the service-confirmed outcome before continuing.
3. Choose the voice and behaviour
Set Grok voice, Language, Speaking style, and Greeting and disclosure. Review the Use this identity for inbound phone calls switch separately.
Expected result: The identity states its voice, style and appropriate AI disclosure.
Confirm it worked: Inspect the displayed state and verify the service-confirmed outcome before continuing.
4. Preview and save
Use Preview voice where configured, then Save identity. Reopen the settings to verify the saved version.
Expected result: The identity is saved after successful service feedback; previewing does not place a call.
Confirm it worked: Inspect the displayed state and verify the service-confirmed outcome before continuing.
Troubleshooting and alternatives
Eva’s core voice identity is account-wide; specialist identities belong to the project agent. Phone availability and provider configuration are separate from saving a voice.
Do not enable inbound calls or promise a working phone number before the required service and provider configuration are available.
