Before you begin

  • Sign in to Eva and select the intended project.
  • Use fictional records when practising; changes affect the selected business.

Starting screen: /dashboard/crm

1. Open submissions

Open the form submissions control from CRM’s lead-form workspace.

Expected result: The submissions sheet lists enquiries for this project.

Confirm it worked: Identify the form and submission you intend to review.

Result: Open submissions. Select the image to enlarge it.

2. Inspect the original answers

Open a submission and read its field labels, answers, provenance and consent evidence.

Expected result: The original answers are displayed independently of a customer record.

Confirm it worked: Check the submitted email and company details before deciding on a match.

3. Choose a reviewed customer

Use the available customer search/selection control, such as Choose a reviewed customer…. Review possible matches rather than relying on name alone.

Expected result: The chosen customer is shown for review.

Confirm it worked: Compare the email and business identity with the original enquiry.

4. Confirm the link

Use the displayed confirmation action to link the reviewed submission.

Expected result: The submission references the chosen customer.

Confirm it worked: Reopen the submission and verify its link; original answers remain available.

Troubleshooting and alternatives

Possible matches are suggestions, not proof of identity. If there is no correct customer, create an appropriate native customer first.

An editor can review/link where permitted; publication settings remain owner controls.
