Edit, pause and retire roster tasks

Control when an existing responsibility runs and retain its history.

Before you begin

  • Sign in to Eva and select the intended project.
  • Use fictional records when practising; changes affect the selected business.

Starting screen: /dashboard/roster

1. Open a task preview

Action: Open a task preview. Select the image to enlarge it.

Select the task in Roster calendar.

Expected result: The task preview displays its title and available actions.

Confirm it worked: Verify the selected title before editing.

2. Edit its configuration

Action: Edit its configuration. Select the image to enlarge it.

Choose Edit roster task, update Title or schedule/delivery fields and click Save task.

Expected result: Roster task updated. appears.

Confirm it worked: Reload and reopen the task to confirm your changes.

3. Pause and resume

Action: Pause and resume. Select the image to enlarge it.

Choose Pause roster task. Open the Paused tab, select the task and choose Resume roster task when ready.

Expected result: The task moves between paused and active states.

Confirm it worked: Check the Active tab after resuming.

4. Retire a responsibility

Action: Retire a responsibility. Select the image to enlarge it.

From the preview choose Delete roster task when the responsibility is no longer needed.

Expected result: The roster task is archived rather than continuing to run.

Confirm it worked: It no longer appears as an active responsibility; prior work history remains the audit reference.

Troubleshooting and alternatives

The preview can close when the calendar scrolls; reopen the correct task before acting.

Run roster task now initiates actual work. Use it only when you intend to execute the review and understand its configured delivery policy.
