Draft, review and send an email response
Review the exact email text and recipients before authorising a send.
Before you begin
- Sign in to Eva and select the intended project.
- Use fictional records when practising; changes affect the selected business.
Starting screen: /dashboard/inbox
1. Open reply options
Select a conversation. Choose Reply, Reply all, or Forward as appropriate.
Expected result: The reply composer or email-action guidance opens.
Confirm it worked: Reply all can include more recipients than Reply; forwarding requires an intended recipient.
2. Prepare the draft
Enter the response or choose the available Propose action. Read Proposed message or Reply draft.
Expected result: A draft is shown for review; proposing does not itself send it.
Confirm it worked: Confirm To/CC recipients, subject, attachments and body.
3. Revise or redo
Use Redo draft where offered. If asked whether to replace content, choose Keep draft or Replace draft deliberately.
Expected result: The chosen draft remains available for review.
Confirm it worked: Read the entire replacement text; it changes what you are approving.
4. Send the reviewed draft
Choose Send draft or the action’s Send now control only after reviewing the exact message.
Expected result: The authorised provider operation executes, with success or failure feedback.
Confirm it worked: Verify the actual sent outcome in the conversation and provider-backed status.
5. Dismiss when inappropriate
For a proposal you do not want to send, use Dismiss draft or the shown denial control.
Expected result: The proposed send is not applied.
Confirm it worked: Check that no sent message was added by that proposal.
Troubleshooting and alternatives
A draft, approval click or “sending” status is not proof the provider accepted the message. Verify terminal success.
A channel may mirror the same email draft with Approve response, Deny response and Review and present again. Review the exact body there too.
