Business setup
Set up and update your business profile
Keep the business context Eva uses current and specific.
Before you begin
- Sign in to Eva and select the intended project.
- Use fictional records when practising; changes affect the selected business.
Starting screen: /dashboard/profile
1. Open the profile
Under Workspace settings, choose Profile. Confirm the active project name.
Expected result: The business form shows the selected project’s current information.
Confirm it worked: The Name field belongs to the intended business.
2. Describe the business
Edit Name, Description, Offer, and Customers. Use an offer such as Brand design packages and a customer segment such as Australian small businesses.
Expected result: The form contains your revised business facts.
Confirm it worked: Read each field; distinguish what you sell from who buys it.
3. Set operating context
Fill Goals, Constraints, and Brand and operating notes. For example, “Follow up enquiries within one business day” and “Do not promise delivery dates without checking capacity”.
Expected result: The context explains desired outcomes and business boundaries.
Confirm it worked: Remove passwords, secrets and instructions copied from external customer messages.
4. Save the profile
Click Save profile and wait for success feedback.
Expected result: The project and business context are saved.
Confirm it worked: Reload Profile; the values still match your edits.
Troubleshooting and alternatives
The business profile describes this project, while personal communication preferences belong to your account. Switching projects changes business context.
If saving fails, keep the form open, read the feedback and retry after connectivity recovers. A changed input alone is not proof the update persisted.
